Carmela’s 1st Year Birthday

Time really flies. Carmela Angela just turned one yesterday. I can’t believe I already have a one year old. We celebrated her birthday at Las Palmas Park in Sunnyvale. I thought it turned out really well. Some of our friends, co-workers and families attended the party with their little ones. The kids had so much fun with the clown and the face painter that we hired from Arty Party. The food were delicious too, so I heard. I’m happy with the Filipino dishes catered by Kalesa in Milpitas. The “lechon” or roasted pig didn’t even last for 2 hours. It was stripped down to the bones. Some people said, the desserts were also good. They were prepared by my wife and mother-in-law. I regretted not taking a lot of pictures though. I was too busy caring for Carmela. She didn’t want to go with anyone except me and her mom. Nevertheless, it was a fun party and I’m happy that it turned out well. We were so worried that it would rain but the weather was so nice that the kids were able to play in the park. Thanks to all who helped us and joined us in this wonderful celebration. Thank you for the gifts as well

We had her ear pierced today at Icing by Claire’s. My daughter is a brave girl. She cried for 5 seconds and back to playing again

Carmela Got A Bumbo Seat

We found this Bumbo Seat at Target today while shopping for her toys. She’s 4 months now and able to hold her head up. She can also get up on her feet now while I hold her hands. I was skeptical with this product at first because I’m afraid that she might not be able to support her body and tumble forward. But it works! And the most important thing is, she’s enjoying this seat. I would definitely recommend this product but with caution. Make sure that your child can support her body on this seat or else it might cause them injury than good. I also recommend getting the tray. I don’t know why you have to buy this separately. It should have been included. Also, don’t get comfortable with this seat and place it on your counter top or on a table while your child is sitting on it. I have read some horror stories about this and I think it was a stupid thing to do in the first place, sorry. I think this product is cool and I am giving Bumbo an A+ for this innovative seat.

Carmela Turned 3 Months

My daughter is now 3 months old today. Time really flies. There are a lot of things she can do now. She’s already able to lift up her head; push her self up a bit; she can grab her toys; she responds when you talk to her; she’s able to put her hands together; she can also lock her knees now too so she can stand up while supporting her body. One thing that’s gone and I certainly don’t miss is her being colicky. I’m glad she’s over with that thing. That’s one of a hell that we went through with her. So anyway, we bought the usual, a small cake with 3 candles.
