We were supposed to just stay home because of the rain but the weather got nicer so we decided to drive to Highway 1. We stopped by the Pie Ranch then we went to the Pigeon Light House. Kids had fun watching the huge waves on the ocean.

We celebrated my daughter’s 4th birthday at Disneyland and California Adventure. We spent two days in the parks. She had so much fun running around, going on the rides, and specially meeting with the Disney characters. It was a total blast for her (and us too)!

If you’re going to Disneyland with your kids, I recommend getting them an autograph book. My daughter had lots of fun and excitement getting it signed by the Disney characters.

We took the kids to Lemos Farm and Repetto’s in Half Moon Bay to see the pumpkin patches and have them experience walking through a corn maze. It was a great day!

This morning, we drove all the way to Watsonville for strawberry picking at Gizdich Ranch but unfortunately they ran out of strawberries because of the Father’s Day event yesterday. So we went for the olallieberry instead. It didn’t matter to me, I just want the kids to experience picking berries from the tree. From San Jose, we took the beautiful Hecker Pass road (also called Highway 152) to Watsonville and on our way back we made a detour to Mt. Madonna County Park. We checked out the camp sites there and my wife and I both agreed that this will be one of the campgrounds we will be camping in this year. While we were there, we also went and see the White Fallow Deer – they are really white alright

It was great spending quality time with my family today. The nature, the road trip, berry picking with wife and the kids. What more can you ask for!
