God’s words in the holy scriptures never fail!

Just last week, my wife and I were approved to hold offices in the Church. And my recent job hunting didn’t even take very long given that I was also MIA for almost two years. Yesterday I had a job interview and same day the company wanted to get me on board. Honestly, prior to the interview, I passed up on this opportunity when it was offered to me. But after a week, the recruiter called me up again and persisted to have me interviewed with the company. I’m glad she did. It’s probably God’s way of saying, “son, this is the one for you!” As an additional bonus, the work place is near my house – a 12 minute drive or a 7 mile bike ride. I have been wishing for a job like this, not too far from where I live and that I could bike to work. Even these small things were granted to me. I am very thankful to the Lord God. Praises unto Him!!!

For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the LORD,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

I truly believe that everything in our lives happen for a reason. God has His plans and you have to put your trust in His own time. The key for a blessed life is FAITH and OBEDIENCE.

Fyi, sa ibang dako ng Pilipinas na pinagdausan din ng GEM ay daan-daang libo na ang mga dumalo. Baka nahilo na ang ating mga kapulisan sa dami ng tao kaya nagkamali ng ibinigay na estimate… kaya?

Anyway, wala naman talaga sa bilang yan. Ang mahalaga, naidaos ng matagumpay at mapayapa ang Pamamahayag ng mga salita ng Diyos kahapon. Walang nangyaring gulo dahil disiplinado ang mga dumalo kahapon. Ang lahat ng ito ay para sa kapurihan ng Ama! Sa mga makukulit na politiko at media, ang Pamamahayag kahapon ay purely religous activity lang, walang anumang bahid na politika. Dalawang ministro lamang ang nagturo at nagsalita sa podium at pawang mga salita ng Diyos lamang ang ipinrisinta sa mga tao. At sa mga mapanitig, nilinis din po ng mga kapatid namin yung kakaunting kalat na naiwan sa lugar.

In the Church, the parents are encourage to bring their small children starting from four years old until they are baptized (typically when they are 12 years old) to attend the CWS. It is a worship service so the children are taught with the words of God that their young age can comprehend. It’s a good way to mold our children to become a good Christian while they are still young. I too was once a part of CWS when I was little and I actually became a member of the choir too. I hope my children will also take offices in the Church someday and realize the great blessings that accompany them.
