Goodbye Baby Fetus

We went to Regional Medical Center Of San Jose this afternoon to have the D&C (dilation and curettage) surgery done for Donna. She was put under general anesthesia and in less than half an hour, the procedure was done. We’re both in sorrow but we’ve already accepted this unfortunate incident in our lives. It’s not […]

Terrible News About Our Baby

I took Donna to her OB this morning for her monthly pregnancy checkup. She’s about 10 weeks. We were both excited because this will be the firts time we are going to hear our baby’s heartbeat. The MA took us to one of the rooms and she started doing a doppler test. We couldn’t hear […]

Carmela Got A Bumbo Seat

We found this Bumbo Seat at Target today while shopping for her toys. She’s 4 months now and able to hold her head up. She can also get up on her feet now while I hold her hands. I was skeptical with this product at first because I’m afraid that she might not […]

My daughter is now 3 months old today. Time really flies. There are a lot of things she can do now. She’s already able to lift up her head; push her self up a bit; she can grab her toys; she responds when you talk to her; she’s able to put her hands together; she […]

Carmela Turned 2 Months

I can’t believe she’s now 2 months old. She’s definitely heavier now. She smiles a lot now and mumbles too. I could almost hear her saying “daddy, you’ro so cute,” hehehe. Anyway, we had the usual celebration, cake and some food. Lolo and lola and Tita Ai-ai were with us.

Carmela’s Offering In The Church

My daughter was offered today in the morning worship service in San Jose. This is the same as Christening a baby if you are a Christian. We are a member of the Chruch of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo in filipino) and we don’t do infant baptism in the Church. According to the bible, baptism is […]

Both Donna and Carmela were discharged today. The OB and Pediatrician came over to have their final assesment. We took Carmela home around 2:00pm in our dwelling place. It is her home now too. This is her first glimpse of the world we live in. Well, she’ll get use to it soon.

Man’s Chest For The Baby’s Room

Donna and I were out today shopping for furniture for the baby’s room. We decided that we’re just gonna buy a dresser or a chest and we’ll just get the crib later. It’s more important right now so we’ll have a place to store all the baby clothes and other stuff. Guess what we found […]
