Panasonic TH-50PZ800U 50″ 1080P Plasma TV
Just in time before the year ends, my new 1080p plasma tv got delivered today. It is rated as CNET’s best HDTV. It’s bigger and better than my old Panasonic. The THX is a very nice feature for watching movies. I have not tried the 24p mode but it’s supposed to deliver much better video quality since the movie is displayed as it was filmed. With it’s 1080p resolution, it’s currently an overkill for tv programs (even in HD) but is perfect for blue-rays and playing games. It’s also nice for connecting a pc, thanks to its native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
