She’s Alive!

My ZX-6R 636 that is. Stupid me, found out what’s causing the engine to cut off. It was the down sensor. I took the tank bracket off and forgot that the sensor is attach to it. Ooops, my bad. So she starts fine now. Wohooo! With only 8K miles on the engine, it sounds like a $6000 dollar machine. Craigslist anyone? ;)

    I’m having the same problem. I was hit by a car and I can’t get the bike to start up again. I have fuel spark and the battery is good, but I think the down sensor is tripped or something. Does it need to be replaced or can it be bypassed? Where is it on a 03/04 zx6r? Any help would be appreciated.
