Goodbye Baby Fetus

We went to Regional Medical Center Of San Jose this afternoon to have the D&C (dilation and curettage) surgery done for Donna. She was put under general anesthesia and in less than half an hour, the procedure was done. We’re both in sorrow but we’ve already accepted this unfortunate incident in our lives. It’s not [...]

She’s Alive!

My ZX-6R 636 that is. Stupid me, found out what’s causing the engine to cut off. It was the down sensor. I took the tank bracket off and forgot that the sensor is attach to it. Ooops, my bad. So she starts fine now. Wohooo! With only 8K miles on the engine, it sounds like [...]

No More Blowing Of Fuses

The ECU arrived today. Plugged it in and blowing of fuses is no more, yehey! But a new problem arose… argh. The bike would start and engine turns over but it won’t hold idle. Maybe because the engine is still cold so I tried holding the throttle and giving it gas but the fuel is [...]

In And Out Of DMV In 16 Minutes

I went to DMV today to transfer the title of my new motorcycle. Everything went smooth and quick! Less than 1 minute to find a parking, 4 minutes of waiting after I got my number, and in 11 minutes, I was able to obtain a registration slip and a new license plate. That’s very impressive!

We Have Lost Our Baby

We tried the best we can to save our baby but maybe it’s not meant to happen. The ultrasound gave the same result and Donna’s hGC level went down to 16,000. It’s not easy to accept that the baby we are expecting is now gone. But that’s how life is, we have to face the [...]

Found The Culprit

Worked on my 2006 ZX-6R again today and now I am armed with a service manual I downloaded online. I love the internet! This PDF manual is pretty cool because the wiring diagrams are detailed. So I retraced the wire all the way down to the ECU. Using my ohmmeter, I toned out the red [...]

Almost Got In Trouble With Cops… Again!

It could have been the worse vehicle related infraction of my life. And this time, I can’t make any contestation because I am guilty of all counts. Ok, so today at lunch, the final parts for my 98 ZX-6R track bike (the bike that I crashed) has arrived so I went ahead and put it [...]

Tracing Electrical Problems On My 636

Yesterday, I started cleaning up the bike a little bit and assessed the actual damage. It wasn’t that bad. I replaced the battery and turn the ignition key to On for the first time. The meter lit up and initiliazed. I confirmed the actual mileage to be exactly 8001 miles. I was gonna try to [...]

Initial Inspection On My 2006 636 ZX-6R

I got up early this morning to check up on my newly acquired bike. I unmounted the unfixable broken fairings and toss them away. The only front fairings usable are the left lower fairing and the right upper fairing. The front fairing has crack all over but I think it’s fixable with duct tape. I [...]

Newest Addition To My Stable

I was browsing through Craigslist today time when I saw a fresh post about a 2006 Kawasaki 636 ZX-6R. It’s only been posted for an hour. The seller listed the bike for $2500 with 8000 miles but it’s been crashed. With my retail expertise (ehem), I know I can get this bike for lesser than [...]

There Is Still Hope

Donna went for her hCG test this morning and just got the result. Amazingly, the previous hCG count of 27,000 went up to 50,000. This is good news. The fetus is causing this to go high so there is a possibility that the fetus is still alive. Her OB said it’s possible that the fetus’ [...]

Terrible News About Our Baby

I took Donna to her OB this morning for her monthly pregnancy checkup. She’s about 10 weeks. We were both excited because this will be the firts time we are going to hear our baby’s heartbeat. The MA took us to one of the rooms and she started doing a doppler test. We couldn’t hear [...]

Dropped My Voter Registration In The Mail

Today is the last day to register to vote in California. This is my first time to register to vote. Really, what prompted me to register is not the presidential race but the different propositions in California.

2 Years With Wink.com Today

Wow, I can’t believe I have been working for Wink for exactly 2 years today. With all the dramas and many changes, I survived the tides. When I was in Yahoo, there’s a tradition that every 2 years, you are given an option to look for a job in another business unit. They believe that [...]

Train Derailment, That’s What Brown Can Do To You

My UPS ground package was supposed to arrive yesterday but didn’t make it. I checked the status on ups.com and it says “TRAIN DERAILMENT” in San Pablo, CA. I was like, NO, not another train wreck accident. I Googled it and apparently this kind of tragic accident happens frequently with UPS, duh. It seems like [...]

Back to Blogging…

I guess when you get busy, which is a good time to blog a lot of things, that’s when you procrastinate writing about it. I gotta play catch up again. Hmmmm, let’s see, the last time I blog was July 31, that’s two months ago. If you are reading this and noticed that there are [...]
