I'm planning on getting a carbon fiber Termignoni slip ons and hopefully that will eliminate some of the heat. Just a side note, I don't like the idea of having a pillion passenger on a sportbike. Riding a fast bike alone is dangerous enough so involving another person is not a bright idea. Leave it to the cruiser bikes.
