I Bought Another Etymotic ER-20 Ear Plugs

I don’t think I’ll be comfortable riding without this ear plugs so I bought another one from Ebay. It’s only $12 and I got the one with the red tip this time. I really recommend this to any riders who are still using foam ear plugs. You’ll see or I should say hear a big […]

I Lost My Ear Plugs

My Etymotic ER-20 ear plugs that I’ve been riding with for 2 years are gone before we even started to ride today. I never ride without it. It is as important as my helmet. I must have left it in Starbucks’ table. Of course anything you leave in the table goes to the garbage afterwards. […]

I’m Getting Addicted To Group Rides Again

Well, yet another gorgeous day. Same friends I rode with yesterday hit up the road again.  I was supposed to baby sit because my wife had to go to work. But she took four hours off for me. I love my wife! Anyway, another guy on a Ducati 748 joined us too, so there were […]

An Early Morning Ride

Not too early but early enough to catch the morning mist in the Santa Cruz Mountain. I rode my Ninja today with a friend who has a Ducati 999R. It’s been a long time since I rode my bike in the twisties. I think the last time I did a group ride was before […]

Santa Came This Morning To Deliver My Laptop

Wohooo! I just received my laptop a little while ago, thanks to FedEx for delivering it while I’m still home . What an awesome shipping service from HP as well. Initially, the PC was supposed to be built by today but it looks like the elves aren’t too busy these days. I have something […]

I Got New Air Conditioner

I got new centralized air conditioning and heating installed in my house today. I purchased the Trane XR13 Compressor (Air Conditioner) and Trane XR80 Gas Furnace. Trane is supposedly the best and most recommended brand out there. It has a 20-year warranty for the compressor and 10-year for the furnace.
Summer is just around the […]

I Bought The HP Pavilion DV9700T Laptop

After much thought, I pulled the trigger on the HP Pavilion dv9700t.

Screen Size - I spend more time coding than actually playing games so screen real state is more important for me.
Graphics Card - 8600M GS is fine for casual gaming and should be more than enough for Photoshop and video editing.
Weight - 7.7lbs is […]

American Idol… You Suck!!!

I’ve had enough. I used to like American Idol so much but they ruined it. The judges on the show are a bunch of fakes! Everything is scripted and contestants are being skewed to display poor performances. The whole show is rigged. I don’t know why the judges like David Archuleta so much when in […]

In Pursuit Of A New Laptop - Dell XPS M1530 Vs HP Pavilion DV9700T

I have to admit, I made a wrong decision when I build my self a Shuttle-like PC last year. I had a monstrous desktop so I thought I’d put together a micro ATX form factor PC for a change. I don’t travel much and never really had any use for a laptop. I have an […]

Gas Price Back In 2003

I was digging through some old pictures today and I stumbled upon this one:

With the gas price currently at above $4.00 per gallon, it’s hard to stomach every time I look at this picture. This was taken on January 11, 2003 after I attended an auto show in San Jose.

New $29.99 Unlimited Data Plan From Verizon

I just learned about this new data plan from Verizon. I currently pay $44.99/month for their unlimited data plan for my HTC XV6800. I only use it for checking emails and sports news and sometimes watching tv through my mobile sling player. With the $29.99 a month plan, you lose access to corporate email, over-the-air […]

Carmela Turned 3 Months

My daughter is now 3 months old today. Time really flies. There are a lot of things she can do now. She’s already able to lift up her head; push her self up a bit; she can grab her toys; she responds when you talk to her; she’s able to put her hands together; she […]
