Carmela Turned 2 Months

I can’t believe she’s now 2 months old. She’s definitely heavier now. She smiles a lot now and mumbles too. I could almost hear her saying “daddy, you’ro so cute,” hehehe. Anyway, we had the usual celebration, cake and some food. Lolo and lola and Tita Ai-ai were with us.

Front Lawn Clean Up

I had to dug out all my Silverdust Duty Miller plants on my front lawn today. They’ve gotten too bushy and do not make an appeal anymore. This is one of my home improvement projects this year. Cleaning up the front lawn and plant new flowery plants. I also bought a fountain called Olde Garden […]

I Test Rode An Iron Horse

This afternoon, I went to Performance Bicycle to get me a new tube for my road bike. I browsed around the store first and checked out some bikes. Then I saw a 2007 Iron Horse Azure Sport full suspension mountain bike with dw-link. I was actually checking this bike online because it’s on a closeout […]

Emergency Visit To The Vet

I had to bring Princess to the clinic early this morning. This is what happened. I gave my dogs (Andre, Princess and Jimbo) some oxtail bone after I had my breakfast this morning. Just before I was going to step in the shower room, I heard some noise outside. I peeked over the window […]

Tire Blew Up… Again

A nice bicycle ride turned out to be a nice walk down the Los Altos neighborhood. Apparently, the tube I replaced yesterday was put wrong. It wasn’t my fault… (not blaming you Dave, hahaha). It sucks though coz walking with my cleated shoes wasn’t fun. And this time, i was more than a mile away […]

Tire Replaced

Finally, I got my tire and tube replaced today. I bought it from Performance Bicycle store, which is just across the street from where I work. Yes I waited ’til today because Performance have a 10% discount every Tuesday from noon to 2pm… why not!  The tire I got was Continental Ultrasport 700c x […]

Tire Blew Up

What a bad luck. I was about 3/4 mile away from the office for my bicycle ride when my tire blew up today. I think I hit a pretty nasty bump on the road and slashed my tire. I was gonna walk back but I can’t do it with my clipless shoes so I had […]

Bicycle Ride Log

Short ride today, only 3 miles. Different route this time. I know, I wimped out again. That’s why I don’t like being idle for a long time. To my credit though, I tried staying at a low gear this time just to test if my leg power has improved

Bicycle Ride Log

I rode 9 miles today. I’m sore and it feels good! There’s one thing I learned today… ENDURANCE. It’s true that if you give up along the way, you’ll never reach your destination.

Back On My Steel Horse

It’s time to get back on the saddle again. I got her cleaned up yesterday, fed with full synthetic fluid and got her a new filter as well. This morning, I fired her up and we hit the road. She never fails to perform. I love my 636 ZX-6R.

How Many TV Shows Can You Handle

I was just thinking about this last night while watching my recorded shows on TiVo. I realized I have too many shows queued up on my now playing list. I hardly watch live shows anymore except when I wake up in the morning and turn on the tv for news. Once in a while I […]

My Goals For Riding A Bicycle

When I was still a kid, biking was just a hobby for me. I used to ride my racer bike every weekend. I used to ride across the hills down to the coastal road of Subic Bay and I’ve done some long-mile rides too. I really enjoyed riding my bike because it was fun. Then […]

Dusting Off My Road Bike

It’s been a year and half since I last rode my bicycle. It’s a Specialized Allez Sport road bike. Poor bike, it’s just collecting dust in my garage. It’s getting warmer outside so I thought I would bring it over to work and bike around Los Altos’s neighborhood during my lunch break. Althought today is […]
