Wohoo! Finally I am done painting the family room, living room and the hallway. Well, I also did the 3 bedrooms a couple weeks ago but I left the master bedroom though. I’m not too enthusiastic painting that room. I hate moving heavy furnitures. I actually redid the family, living and the hallway. I painted them 2 years ago when I first moved in to the house. Donna wanted a lighter (not bright) color so I just bumped up the shade a little bit. It’s a pain because when I moved in, there were no furnitures and wall decorations yet. Now I had to move them out of the way.

The first time I painted, I had to use blue tapes on every corner of the walls. That was very time consuming. This time, I didn’t use any tape at all. What’s my technique? I learned that a  2″ angled brush is all you need to get a clean corner. You have to do it slowly to avoid any mess. But sometimes I miss some corners that’s why I always have a wet rag with me to wipe off paint splotches. I love painting. It’s fun and sometimes challenging specially the part where you choose the colors for your walls.
